A quest for meaning represents the very essence of our profession. Everyday, it motivates us as architects.

L’Atelier Empreinte was founded in 2002 as three complementary personalities joined forces. With the talent and expertise of the team built around Pierre-Gilles, Jérôme and Olivier, our firm designs and produces large projects in diverse and complementary fields: Large private and public collective housing developments, serviced apartments, hotels, installations, offices and more.

Our approach

A project’s design is a complex process that requires human interaction. The synthesis of our technical, legal, aesthetic, sociological and political expertise crystallises our ideas into architectural substance. Then together, we add emotion to bring it to life.

We listen to our customer, his needs and aspirations

We listen to the public authorities, their global vision for urban insertion

We listen to the site, its relationship with nature, its neighbourhood. We add without destroying.

We repeat this loop of interaction as often as necessary to progressively feed the project until becomes the expression of collective thought.
