Les Jardins de Calypso – La Ciotat
The challenge for this development was to integrate collective housing into a environment of detached Provençal houses.
By toying with volumes and creating balance with the neighbouring homes, we managed to combine classic Provençal aesthetics with a contemporary design.
The development revolves around existing buildings: a large R+2 villa (with outbuildings) and a small R+1 villa. The collective housing is at the end of the plot along Avenue de la Lionne, providing structure to the road through the building itself.
