L’Arquet Campsite – Martigues
This development involved the extension of a campsite in the Couronne area of Martigues, on the coast. It entailed upgrading the campsite to 4 stars with the creation of the associated facilities and infrastructures (890m² venue for up to 300 people, restaurant for up to 200 people, kitchen, swimming pool area with several landscaped pools). And the creation of a reception pavilion of around 160m².
The style of all the constructions and refurbishments is contemporary: large windows overlooking the ocean, roofs with overhangs to protect from the sun. The development fits in perfectly with the site; its volumes embrace the slope of the land and local materials are showcased.

THE DETAIL
The construction of the wooden reception pavilion at the entrance to the campsite was a major element in the project because of the warmth it projects and as a clear indication of the entrance to the site.
